Beginning on this date Marc will conduct one of the rare federal court trials of an international sale of goods case governed by the U.N. Convention on the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
Among the important issues presented in the case is whether the law of the forum and buyer’s domicile (New Jersey) or the law of the seller’s domicile (Italy) governs the rate of prejudgment interest and the recoverability of attorneys’ fees by the prevailing party.
