Among the important issues presented in the case is whether the law of the forum and buyer’s domicile (New Jersey) or the law of the seller’s domicile (Italy) governs the rate of prejudgment interest and the recoverability of attorneys’ fees by the prevailing party.

Marc was similarly selected for inclusion in the 2008 edition of Best Lawyers, six months after the opening of Marc J. Goldstein Litigation & Arbitration Chambers in March 2007. U.S. judicial developments concerning e-discovery
Wednesday, October 1st, 2008On October 1, 2008, Marc was a featured speaker at a conference on Electronic Discovery in Montreal, Canada, where he discussed U.S. judicial developments concerning e-discovery before an audience of Canadian in-house counsel and IT professionals. Marc engaged by the Export Development Canada (EDC)
Wednesday, July 23rd, 2008Marc has been engaged by the Export Development Canada (“EDC”) to advance claims in federal litigation in the U.S. District Court for New Jersey. EDC, a Crown Corporation of the Dominion of Canada based in Ottawa, provides financial support for Canadian corporations doing business outside of Canada. Marc has also been engaged as counsel to a New York investor and architect in an AAA construction arbitration in New York. Marc is also advising a Canadian corporation selling goods in the United States on US credit issues involving US Department of Agriculture loan and loan guarantee programs.
Marc Speaks on E Discovery
Wednesday, July 2nd, 2008Marc will be a panelist discussing current trends in E-Discovery at a conference in Montreal on October 1-2 entitled ‘Administration de la Preuve Electronique (E Discovery).’
The conference is presented by Insight Information, a division of American Lawyer Media, in collaboration with Canadian Lawyer and the Société Québécoise D’Information Juridique.
